Setting out from my hometown of Atlanta, USA in 2013 I wasn’t sure what to expect from life on the road. There were certainly ups and downs, and it was an unforgettable chapter filled with adventure and - more often - misadventure. These travels were often alone and dotted with fateful meeting of friends old and new along the way.

Throughout my travels, I worked in various roles in the hospitality industry, sometimes in exchange for accommodation and eventually for money.
From managing a B&B in rural Ireland to serving organic wine in a hipster jaunt, I fell in love with the uniqueness, excitement and pulse of the industry. This aspect of my travels opened my eyes to a passion for food, beverage and the ‘hospo’ industry that will stay with me for years to come.

One of my favourite aspects of international travel has been hiking & exploring nature in various regions of the world.
I have done countless day trips, multi-day hikes and a few summits that will remain at the top of my life experiences for a long time.
