The Story of Oisín

Immediately when we heard the name Oisín, we both agreed it was the one.

As the hours passed and I read more about history of the name and learned the story of Oisin and Tir na nOg, I felt it was even better suited for our son. The final piece that sealed Oisín’s fate was when we learned it means “little deer” in Irish. Christy, Kev’s father, has a multi-generational family of deer he has befriended over the years and now feeds by hand. So in a few short weeks we’ll have another to add to Christy’s herd!

Now, we just need everyone to practice the spelling and pronunciation (UH-sheen) before he arrives!
